Orbital hypertelorism （眼窩隔離症）に対するcranio facial surgeryによる眼窩周囲骨切り術の経験

Correction of orbital hypertelorism by cranio facial surgery

　我々は14歳女子の顔面に重度の醜形を呈する眼窩隔離症に対し，頭蓋内アプローチにより眼窩とその周囲に骨切りを行い，眼窩を内側へ移動固定することにより，満足な結果を得たので，本症例の大要を報告し，特にその手術手技につぎ検討を加えた。

A 14-year-old female with orbital hypertelorism was successfully operated by intracranial approach. The patient was affected with congenital orbital hypertelorism with the interorbital distance mea-suring 38 mm. The surgical correction was done by coronary incision raising the frontal bon plate. The orbital bony cavity was moved by circumorbital osteotomy uterizing the frontal bar technique of Tessier. After excising a 23 mm of the excess central part of the naso-ethmoidal complex, we approxi-mated the mobilized orbital cavity in the midline, inserting an iliac bone graft to stabilize the orbital cavity in the new position.
