Orbital Venographyによる眼窩腫瘤の診断の試み

Venographic appearances of orbital and paraorbital tumours.

I．緒言

　眼窩及びその周囲組織の病変，殊に眼窩腫瘍を早期に的確に診断することは，時として容易なこともあるが亦種々の検査法を行なうにもかかわらず，極めて困難を感ずることも少なくない。

　我々はかつてこの診断の一助として充気多層断層撮影を行なうことを提称したことがあるが，今回はOrbital Venographyについて報告したい。

The venographic appearances of the orbital and paraorbital tumours were taken by the method of catheterization of the facial vein.

In case 1, a 26-years-old woman, a small lipomata was observed at the outer canthus of right orght orbit. There was no proptosis and the x-ray orbital venogram was normal.

Case 2 was a 49-years-old man who was suf-fering from the swelling of right upper lid and the slight downward displacement of rig-ht eye ball. The orbital venogram of this case showed the displaced and compressed right upper ophthalmic vein surrounding the muc-ocele of frontal sinus.
