　中心性漿液性網脈絡膜症患者22例23限を対象として，視覚の時間周波数特性を測定し，次の結果をえた。

　（1）矯正視力が，1.0以上の良好な症例においても，高周波側閾値の上昇を認めた。この閾値上昇の程度は，自覚的およびAmsler grid chartによる中心暗点の程度と相関をもつことが示唆された。閾値上昇の機序については，主としてStiles-Crawford効果によるものであろうと推測した。

　（2）矯正視力不良例では，高周波側閾値上昇に加え，中間周波数域におけるpeakの消失がみられた。これは，網膜実質内病変による側抑制の障害によるものであろうと推測した。

Temporal Modulation Transfer Function (TM-TF) in 22 patients with central serous choroido-pathy was measured, and the following results were obtained. In 2 patients, whose corrected visual acuity was good and who complained of little central scotoma, the TMTF showed no significant difference with normal eye. In the other 20 patients, the TMTF showed the abnormal pattern, whose characteristics were divided as below.

1 The TMTF was attenuated at high temporal frequency even in patients whose corrected visual acuity was good, and the degree of attenuation seemed to have close relationship with the degree of central scotoma.
