Purpose:To report a case of central serous chorioretiopathy(CSC)that developed 6 years after spontaneous cure of idiopathic choroidal neovascularization(ICNV). Case and Findings:A 36-year-old man presented with metamorphopsia and paracentral scotoma in his left eye. Corrected visual acuity was 1.0 in the affected eye. Funduscopy showed findings compatible with ICNV. Three months later,ICNV became scarred with absorption of subretinal fluid. Serous retinal detachment recurred 6 years later. Fluorescein angiography showed dye leakage starting as pinpoint to enlarge later. The findings were consistent with CSC. Photocoagulation applied to the site of leakage was followed by rapid absorption of subretinal fluid. Conclusion:This case illustrates that CSC may develop in an eye with a history of ICNV.
