　胞状網膜剥離（多発性後極部網膜色素上皮症）4例8眼を対象とし，視覚の時間周波数特性を測定し，下記の結果を得た。

　矯正視力不良例では，高周波側および中間周波数域での閾値の上昇がみられ，さらに視力が低下すると低周波側閾値の上昇，peakの低周波側への偏位も認められた。

　上記の所見は光凝固または自然治癒により，漿液性剥離の消退と共に改善を示したが，視力回復不良例や中心暗点等の後遺症を残した症例ではt-MTFも異常所見を示した。

　以上のt-MTFの結果および臨床経過より，胞状網膜剥離における視力不良の原因は，重症な網膜実質内病変によるものであろうと考えられた。

Themporal Modulation Transfer Function (TM TF) in 4 patients with bullous retinal detachment was measured, and the following results were ob-tained.

All the 4 cases showed abnormal patterns, which were divided into two different characteristics, and it was supposed that they converted each other. (1). The TMTF was attenuated at both the high and middle temporal frequency.
