小児における副腎皮質ホルモン剤内服の眼圧に及ぼす影響

Intraocular Pressure in Children on Systemic Corticosteroid Therapy

緒　言

　副腎皮質ホルモン剤の内服によつて時として高眼圧〜緑内障（以下高眼圧とする）を生ずるが，その機構については未だ十分明らかではない，，また，内服量と眼圧との相関関係について多数例で検討した報告は見当たらない。今回，われわれは小児において副腎皮質ホルモン剤の内服を現在行なつているか，または余り遠くない過去に行なつたことのある149例を対象として，眼圧測定，副腎皮質ホルモン剤点眼負荷試験，トノグラフィーなどを行ない若干の知見を得たので報告する。

We examined intraocular pressure (I. O. P.) in a total of 149 children on long-term systemic corticosteroid therapy. They comprised 110 pati-ents with nephrotic syndrome, 11 with chronic nephritis, 7 with bronchial asthma, 6 with sys-temic lupus erythematosus, 3 with rheumatoid arthritis, 2 with congenital adrenal hyperplasia, 1 with pyelonephritis and 1 with Takayasu's disease.

A pathological rise of I. O. P. was present in 20 out of 149 cases (13.4%). The pediatric diagnosis was nephrotic syndrome in 16, pur-pura nephritis in 1 and systemic lupus erythe-matosus in 3.
