各種眼疾患に対するDiamoxの効果

Effect of Diamox on various eye diseases

Ⅰ．緒言

　Diamoxが緑内障患者の眼圧を降下せしめる作用を有することは，1954年Beckerによつて発見され，その後，Breinin and Görtz （1954），Grant and Trotter （1954），Kleinert （1954）等の臨床報告があり，我国に於ても数多くの発表がある。然しその眼圧降下機転に関しては未だ定説がなく，実験的並に臨床的に種々の研究が行われつつある。吾々は臨床的に各種眼疾患に試用して，緑内障のみならず他の二，三の眼疾患に対しても認むべき効果を確め得たので茲に報告する。

Diamox was administrated to 92 eyes in 73 cases for the purpose of decrease in ocular tension and edema.

1) Diamox was effective in 89.5% of 8 eyes (8 cases) of post-operative edema, 78.3% of 23 eyes (18 cases) of glaucoma, 71.4% of 7 eyes (6 cases) of sclerokeratitis, 62.5% of 8 eyes (8 cases) of retinal commotio, 58.3% of 12 eyes (7 cases) of uveitis, 55.6% of 9 eyes (5 cases) of periphlebitis of retina, 58.3% of 13 eyes (11 cases) of central chorioretinitis and 20.0% of 5 eyes (5 cases) of thrombosis of retinal vein and not effective in .4 eyes (2 cases) of diabetic retinitis and 3 eyes (3 cases) of retinal detachment.
