Ⅰ．緒言

　眼球乾燥症に対する耳下腺排出管の結膜嚢内移植術をわが国に初めて紹介したのは神谷貞義氏^1）であり，同氏らの十分な動物実験と死体解剖とにもとついて確立された手術術式ならびにその症例の発表は貴重である。われわれも眼天疱瘡によつて頑固な眼球乾燥症をきたした12才の少年の両眼に神谷氏らの術式にもとづいて，多少改良しつつ本移植術を行なつたのでその経験を報告し，あわせて手術前後の耳下腺分泌液の量ならびに成分を調査比較したので，その成績をものべる。

The parotid duct transplantation to the conjunctival sac was performed on both sides of a 12 years old male who had xerophthalmia due to pemphygus ; the operative technique used was a mo-dification of Kamiya's method. The postoperative course was good and a marked improvement ofthe visual acuity obtained.

In order to know changes in the parotid secretion after the operation, the secretion was obtained from the patient pre- and postoperatively by stimulations with acid or pilocarpine ; and both secreti-ons were compared. The postoperative secretion decreased its amount slightly when stimulated.
