網膜芽細胞腫の保存的療法について

Conservative Treatment of Bilateral Retinoblastoma

I．緒言

　両眼に網膜芽細胞腫がある場合，重症眼が眼球摘出され，軽症眼に保存的療法が試みられるが，著者はこのような両眼網膜芽細胞腫の2例2眼にレントゲン線療法，3例3眼にジアテルミー凝固，1例1眼に光凝固をなしたので，これらの症例について述べ，この3療法を論じてみたいと思う。

Bilateral retinoblastoma was treated by X-ray, diathermy-coagulation, or light-coagulation on one eye after enucleation of another, more severe eye.

Two eyes were irradiated with X-ray of 20, 580R or 12, 493R, resulted with failure. Two eyes were successfully cured by diathermy-coagulation and one eye was cured by light-coagulation.

Diathermy-coagulation may be more conve-nient and successful than X-ray treatment and light-coagulation for early stage of retinoblas-toma.
