An autopsy case of sympathicoblastoma was reported ; The patient is 6 year and 9 month old female, who developed exophthalmus, dis-turbance of ocular motility, subcutaneous hae-morrhage at the eyelid, and choked disc, caused by the metastasis of tumor to the orbit. An autopsy revealed the existence of metastasis in cranium, ovarium, T5, T10 vertebrae, and lymph nodes at the tracheal bifurcation.

A statistical study was made on sympathi-coblastoma of young children.

Out of 12,188 autopsied cases of young child-ren below 14 years old in Japan between 1959 and 1963, 96 cases ( 0.78%) was sympathico-blastoma.
