小児色覚検査の検討—第2報保育所におけるスクリーニングと検査の限界について

Problems in Color Vision Examination of Children:2. Color vision examination of day nursery children and the limit of the examination

I．緒言

　保育所は児童福祉施設の一つとして，保育に欠ける乳児，幼児，児童の保育を目的に設置され（児童福祉法第39条）入所児童は1年2回学校保健法による定期健康診断に準じた診断を行なうように決められているが（児童福祉施設最低基準第13条），実際上なかなか励行されにくい。

　われわれは，第1報で幼稚園児について各種の色盲検査表を使つて色覚スクリーニングを行ないその成績を検討し，基本図形がよいことを指摘したが，今回は幼稚園児よりさらに年齢が低い保育所児童の色覚スクリーニングを行なつて若干の知見を得たので報告する。

It has been shown through prior studies of the authors that pseudoisochromatic tables for children and other similar sets of plates are of practical value in detecting color-blind children attending kindergardens. In order to ascertain the practicability of the method for lower age groups, 493 children attending day nurseries of ages ranging from 1 to 6 years were tested with the method. Ten subjects ( 2%) turned out to be color deficient, while 17 subjects (3%), mainly from lower age groups of less than 3 years, could not be classified as either normal or color deficient due to inadequate answers ob-tained.
