3歳児健康診査における視力検査の検討

The Study of the Visual Screening on the Full-Three-Year-Old Children

I．緒言

　小児の視覚管理の上で，その発達過程で，6歳までに十分な視覚管理を実施すべきは衆知の通りである。われわれはその面でいろいろな機会に集団検診における視力検査の重要性を主張し，さらに検査方法も開発し，その統一的な方法の普及に努めてきた。就学時健康診断，幼稚園健康診断，保育所健康診断はその検査方法については問題はなく，後はその普及に行政的措置が望まれるのみである。

　これらの各種健康診断の対象年齢は，就学時では満6歳児，幼稚園では満4,5歳児であり，4歳未満の視覚管理にとつてさらに重要な時期ではわずかに保育所があるのみである。しかし保育所の満3歳児は非常に少数であり，それをもつてしては，公衆衛生学的な価値は非常に低いものといわねばならない。そこで考えられるのは，保健所における3歳児健康診査である。

We practiced the visual screening for 231 children, full three years old. And the results were obtained as follows :

1) The average angular visual acuity by the way with the Landolt Ring in the Health Cen-ters was 0.56.

2) In the way with the Landolt Ring, 165 children in 231 were able to examine, in the with the basic figures, 203.

3) In comparison to the visual acuity in the Health Centers, it of the same children in our center was 0.1 higher.
