A New Standardization of Color Perception Lantern

I．緒言

　関，深見，馬嶋氏らの適性規準一般に関する一連の研究や，堤氏の独自な色覚定量化の試みなどにより職業適性の基準化の問題は，手の届くところにきていながら，もう一歩のところで足踏みをしている。

　この隘路の最たる部分は適性検査法に信頼のおけるものが見出されないところにあろう。しかし現実にわれわれは100 hue testとlantern testをもち，近くはPanel D−15の検討に手をつけられるようになつた。この問題をさらに押し進めれば，各適性検査法の能力の追求が最も要求される段階とみるべきであろう。

A critical appraisal is made on the former color perception lantern as used for aptitude tests for traffic workers in comparison with Farnsworth's 100 hue test or panel D-15 test. A proposal is made to standardize the color lanterns which are in current use by numerous hospitals. Particular emphasis was made for the necessity of standardization of range of colors used for the lanterns. Following topics has been discussed upon.

The term "white" is to be represented by wh-ite light in preference to yellow one.
