網膜色素変性症の成因と治療—（XX．網膜色素変性症人眼の2剖検例）

Causes and Treatment of Pigment Degeneration of the Retina.:Report 20. Histological Study of Two Human Materials

　中等度および極度に進行した網膜色素変性症（変性症）人眼の2例の網膜を材料として主に其等の微細構造上の病変を観察した。

　第1例は74歳男子で中等度以上に進行した例で急性炎性緑内障のため眼球摘出したもので，電顕，光顕的検索の外血管樹標本も作つた。第2例は51歳男子で外傷による強膜破裂を縫合する際網膜小片を切除し，電顕材料のみを作つた。

Histological study of the disease could be conducted on one biopsied material obtained after traumatic rupture of the eyeball and on one enucleated eyeball necessitated by glauc-oma.

The electron microscopic findings stood in close agreement with hitherto accepted resul-ts concerning experimentally produced retini-tis pigmentosa. It is concluded that the artifi-cially produced retinitis pigmentosa furnishes valuable keys to elucidate problems of real retinitis pigmentosa in humans.
