1．網膜色素変性症人眼の電顕的観察

　75歳男子の電顕像では錐体は稀に残存，視細胞は著明に変性消失し，これにmelanin顆粒を多数含む茎状の突起が，色素上皮から進入している。赤道部では色素上皮が直接外境界膜に接し，gliaや結合組織の侵入はない。色素上皮にはmitochondria,RNA顆粒，小胞体が発達し，activeな状態にある。外穎粒層，外網状層は萎縮しているが，内顆粒層より内側の構造はよく保存されている。

　血管伸展標本では，毛細血管内皮，壁細胞の核は消失し，色素が毛細管壁に附着する部分の内皮細胞は増殖してmicroaneurysma様となり，melaninが沈着している。

The symposium on hereditary eye diseaseswas held on Nov. 7, 1964, concurrently with the Annual Congress of Clinical Ophthalmo-logy in Nagoya. 14 papers were read, most of which were studies on clinical or experi-mental pigment degeneration of the retina.

Ultrastructure of eyes with pigment dege-neration of the retina was reported by S. Nishida et al., Nagoya Municipal Univ., by M. Suyama, Tottori Univ., and K. Fukunaga et al., Tottori Univ. Electrophysiological as-pects were studied by K. Imaizumi et al., Iwa-te Med.
