眼窩骨髄腫の1例

A case of orbital myeloma

　眼窩骨髄腫は従来報告例の極めて少い疾患であり，日眼全書^1）によれば，1935年高野三喜雄氏^2）の1例と1954年，橋本，清水^3）氏の1例の計2例をみるのみで，全眼窩腫瘍中の0.28％という極めて稀な疾患と考えられる。又1959年に稲富氏による1例を見る。最近私共は，眼窩骨髄腫による眼球突出を主訴とする1例を経験したのでここに報告する。

A man aged 40 was examined, under his chief complaint of the exophthalmos of the left eye, with the following findings. VR : 0.6 (1.2×-2.0D), VL:0.1 (n.c.), ocular tension:R. 21.0mmHg, L, 26.0mmHg, exophthalmos : R. 13.0mm, 17.0mm (after Hertel's method,) and choroiditic alteration seemed to be caused by the compression of the tumor was obser-ved in the left ocular fundus. A relative scotoma was recognised at the lower half of the left visual field. Plasma cells were found in nearly 5% in the circulating peripheral blood and plasma and immature plasma cells were found about 70% in the myelogram of the bone marrow.
