Studies on Amblyopia

緒言

　私共は，Euthyscopeに依る弱視の治療成績について発表したが，其後BangerterのPleopt—phorを使用し，更にEuthyscopeを併用し，其他必要に応じてSynoptiscope Co-ordinator，Mnemoskopを用いて，70例の弱視について検討したのでここに報告し，併せて2,3の関係事項についても述べてみたい。

The 32 cases of pure amblyopia and 38 cases of relative amblyopia have been treated chiefly with Euthscope or Pleoptophor.

(1) In regard to fixation which was to be determined on the first day of examination, the difference in the visual improvement has scarcely been observed between the groups : F. F., P. F. F. and P. M. F.

In cases of eccentric fixation, however, the better improvement has been obtained with the use of Pleoptophor than that of Enthyscope.

The visual improvement has been accompanied by the betterment of fixation.

(2) In regard to age, the best result has been obtained in the group younger than 10 years.
