Abstract. Purpose:To report repeatability and differences in corneal diameter measured by various instruments. Cases and Method:This study was made on 46 eyes of 25 cases who had no disorders other than refractive errors. The series comprised 13 male and 33 female eyes. The age ranged from 20 to 31 years, average 24 years. Horizontal corneal diameter was measured from white to white using TMS-5, ORBSCAN Ⅱ®, and Pentacam®. Measurement was repeated 3 times by two observers. Results:Corneal diameter averaged 11.86±0.34 mm and 11.87±0.34 mm when measured by automatic and manual mode of TMS-5 respectively. There was no difference between the two modes or between observers. Coefficient of variation was 2.9% for both modes of TMS-5, 2.8% for ORBSCAN Ⅱ®, and 3.9% for Pentacam®. All instruments showed high repeatability. Corneal diameter measured by TMS-5 was larger than about 0.4 mm than other instruments. Conclusion:Corneal diameter measured by TMS-5 showed high repeatability. The value was greater by 0.4 mm than other instruments.
