ラタノプロスト点眼液の先発医薬品と後発医薬品における1日あたりの薬剤費の比較

要約　目的：ラタノプロスト点眼液の先発医薬品と後発医薬品につき，点眼可能な日数と1日あたりの薬剤費の比較。方法：ラタノプロスト点眼液の先発医薬品であるキサラタン^®と，後発医薬品22銘柄について総滴数を測定して点眼可能な日数と，1日あたりの薬剤費を算出した。結果：点眼薬1滴あたりの容量は，先発医薬品では31.9μl，後発医薬品では28.4～38.7μlであった。点眼可能日数は，先発医薬品では45日，後発医薬品では34～49日であった。1日あたりの薬剤費は，先発医薬品では50.8円，後発医薬品では31.2～45.5円であった。後発医薬品の薬価は先発医薬品の70％であった。結論：1滴容量と点眼可能回数を考慮したラタノプロスト点眼液の1日薬剤費は，後発医薬品では先発医薬品の61～89％の範囲にあり，薬価の差を反映していない。

Abstract.　Purpose：To compare the daily cost of latanoprost ophthalmic solution between brand and generic products. Method：This study was made on Xalatan^® and other 22 generic brands of latanoprost ophthalmic solution. Each product was tested for total number of drops to count how many days can be used for one bottle. Actual cost per day was also estimated. Results：Volume of one drop was 31.9μl for Xalatan^® and 28.4 to 38.7μl for generic brands. Content of one bottle lasted,theoretically,45 days for Xalatan^® and 34 to 49 days for generic brands. Daily cost for Xalatan^® was 50.8 yen and 31.2 to 45.5 yen for the rest. Conclusion：Actual daily cost of latanoprost ophthalmic solution of generic products ranged from 61 to 89％ to that of Xalatan^®.
