緑内障点眼薬の1滴容量と1日薬剤費用

Volume of one drop and daily cost of ophthalmic solution for glaucoma

目的：現行の緑内障治療用点眼薬の1滴容量と1日当たりの薬剤費用の検討。対象と方法：市販されている13種の点眼瓶それぞれの総滴数を計測し，その用法，用量，薬価から1滴の容量と1日当たりの薬剤費を算出した。結果：1滴の容量は29.4～52.7μl，平均41.9μlであった。これから算定した1日当たりの薬剤費は53.1～106.6円，平均71.6円であった。点眼瓶や容器に変更があると1滴の容量と1本の点眼薬の点眼可能期間が変化した。結論：点眼瓶や容器に変更があると1本の点眼薬の点眼可能期間と治療費が変化する。

Purpose：To examine the volume of one drop and the daily cost of ophthalmic solutions for glaucoma in current use. Material and Method：Thirteen kinds of products were measured as to the total volume of one bottle and the volume of one drop by counting drop by drop. The daily cost was calculated from the standard daily dosage and official price of each product. Results：The mean volume of one drop was 41.9μl（ranged from 29.4 to 52.7μl）,and the mean daily cost was 71.6 yen（ranged from 53.1 to 106.6 yen）. The volume of one drop,the daily cost and the usable duration of one bottle became altered after changes in the design of the bottle or preparation regimen. Conclusion：Changes in the design of the bottle or preparation regimen affected the usable duration and the daily cost of the ophthalmic solution.
