抄録：棘突起縦割法椎弓形成術後5～11年（平均7年）経過を観察した56名（頸椎後縦靱帯骨化症23名，頸椎症性脊髄症33名）において，脊髄症状および脊柱構築の変化を検討した．
四肢運動機能の面から，80％の症例で手術効果が維持されていたが，頸髄症の再悪化が10％にあり，また変形性関節症等他の疾患による運動機能低下が10％にあった．
