脂肪沈着を伴う肝細胞癌は高分化のものが多いとされるが，中分化相当の相対的高悪性度のsubtypeも存在する。今回我々は，中分化相当のsteatohepatitic typeの肝細胞癌を経験したため報告する。

Hepatocellular carcinoma containing fat is generally considered to be a well–differentiated type, but the rare subtype, steatohepatitic type, is highly malignant. The patient, a woman in her 80s without HBV or HCV infection, underwent resection of lung cancer 6 years ago and during follow–up a fatty mass appeared in her liver. Partial hepatectomy was performed, and the pathological diagnosis was made as steatohepatitic type moderately differentiated hepatocellular carcinoma, in which tumor cells with prominent fatty deposits grew in a cord–like pattern.
