本稿は，放射線治療による悪心・嘔吐に対する5-HT₃受容体拮抗薬の有効性について，2019年6月29日開催の放射線治療談話会勉強会で講演させていただいた内容を整理し総説として執筆したものである。

Recently, radiation therapy is more frequently used not only to treat cancer but also to ease cancer symptoms, known as palliative care. The problem is that the management of radiation induced nausea and vomiting is insufficient in Japan. In this review, we report the actual usage of 5-HT₃ receptor antagonists for the prevention and treatment of RINV in our institution, and then discuss how to promote the use of antiemesis guidelines and 5-HT₃ receptor antagonist in clinical practice.
