腹腔鏡下総胆管切石後に総胆管を一期的に縫合した場合や，経胆嚢管的に切石を行った場合には胆汁をドレナージするための経胆嚢管チューブ（Cチューブ）が留置されるのが一般的である．しかしCチューブの挿入操作は必ずしも容易ではない．今回，新しく開発した経胆嚢管ドレナージチューブ（Jキット）（八光メディカル）はキット内の穿刺針（15G）により皮膚から直接穿刺が可能である，チューブの規格は4Fr,950mm，テトラフロロエチレン系で硬く，先端はJ型に彎曲し，先細りしている．X線非透過性で，0.032インチのガイドワイヤーが挿入できる．外筒も彎曲しており，胆嚢管の形状に合わせて調節が可能で，外筒の手元側は逆止弁が施されている．従来のCチューブと較べて胆嚢管内への挿入は容易で，今後，経胆嚢管チューブとして有用であると考えられた．
It is common to replace the bile drainage tube (C-tube) through the cystic duct after primary ductal closure following choledochotomy or after transcystic clearance for laparoscopic exploration of stones in the common bile duct. The insertion of a C-tube into the cystic duct is, however, technically demanding. Our new bile drain-age tube kit (J-kit) (Hakko Medical) consists of a specially designed 950mm-long, 4 Fr, radiolucent tetrafluoroethylen tube with a tapered and J-shaped segment at the distal end, through which a 0.032 inch guide-wire is introduced.
