Tuebingen大学の低侵襲外科トレーニングセンターはドイツ・Tuebingen大学医学部外科病院内に1990年10月に開設された．コースにはLAP,TEM,Colon,Fundoの4種類がある．LAPコースはレジデントや比較的初心者を対象とし，腹腔鏡下手術における縫合や糸結び，鉗子類の基本操作を練習し，最終的に胆嚢切除術と虫垂切除術を行う技術を習得する．TEMコースは経肛門的内視鏡下マイクロサージャリー専門医を育成するコースである．Colonコース，Fundoコースはそれぞれ大腸切除術，噴門形成術の専門コースである．このコースの特徴はTuebingen anatomical laparoscopic trainerと呼ばれる独自のシミュレーションモデル内に新鮮な動物の臓器を取り付け，ヒトの手術の解剖に近い状態を作り上げていること，2日間ないし5日間にわたる長いトレーニング期間を設定していること，画一的な指導ではなく各人の不得意分野を見出し重点的に指導することである．
The training center for minimally invasive surgery at Tuebingen University was established in the surgical hospital of School of Medicine, Tuebingen University. Germany in October. 1990. They have four courses. includ-ing LAP. TEM. Colon. and Fundo. In the LAP course residents or beginners can train basic techniques for laparoscopic surgery. such as suturing. knot-tying. and manipulation of the forceps. At the end of this course the trainees are expected to be able to perform cholecystectomy and appendectomy. The TEM course is to train the specialists for transanal endoscopic microsurgery.
