日本熱傷学会が2011年より開始した熱傷入院患者レジストリは，今日までに約120の参加登録施設から2万件を超える症例が蓄積されている。本レジストリの特徴は，急性期治療目的の入院症例と，再建手術目的の入院症例を対象としていることである。このデータをもとにした本邦におけるさまざまなエビデンスが国内外で公表されている。熱傷は，文化や社会状況によって受傷機転や診療内容が異なるため，本邦の主要熱傷診療施設における現況を明らかにするうえで極めて重要なデータベースである。熱傷診療の質の向上と標準化に加え，国際比較や他のレジストリとの相互性，多施設研究推進のため，2023年4月より大幅な改訂が計画されている。

The Japanese National Burn Registry, started in 2011 by the Japanese Society for Burn Injuries, has accumulated more than 20,000 patients from about 120 participating facilities to date. This registry is unique in that it includes patients hospitalized for both acute treatment and reconstructive surgery. Based on this registry data, various evidence from Japan has been published domestically and internationally. The mechanism of burn injury and type of care provided differ depending on culture and social conditions, so this database is extremely important to clarify the current situation at major burn medical facilities in Japan. In the future, in addition to improving the quality and standardization of burn care, a major revision is planned from April 2023 for international comparison, reciprocity with other registries, and promotion of multicenter research.
