　早速原文に取りかかろう。NR, Vol. 33, No. 1, p. 33の右欄になった。12行目より始まる「仮説」である：

Hypotheses

Ⅰ. The skin conductance level of female college students treated with physical touch will exceed the skin conductance level of female college students treated with therapeutic touch, when both samples are exposed to a stressful stimulus.

Ⅱ. Muscle tension level of female college students treated with physical touch will exceed the muscle tension level of female college students treated with therapeutic touch, when both samples are exposed to a stressful stimulus.

Ⅲ. The peripheral skin temperature of female college students treated with therapeutic touch will exceed the skin temperature of female college students treated with physical touch, when both samples are exposed to a stressful stimulus.
