I．はじめに

　耳鼻咽喉科領域の疾患のうち鼻アレルギーの最近の増加は著しい。また本邦における鼻アレルギーの有病率は約10％ともいわれている。鼻アレルギーの動態，アレルゲンの変動，検査成績などについてわれわれはすでにいくつか報告^1〜3）しているが，今回医学部学生を対象とし学生における鼻アレルギーの有病率および皮内テスト成績について検討を行った。鼻アレルギーが予想以上に多く，皮内テストにおいてもいくつかの興味ある成績が得られたので，若干の考察を加えて報告する。

　Incidence of nasal allergy in medical students was studied. Intradcrmal skin tests were donc in 6 allergens; house dust (HD), ragweed (RW), Japanese cedar, orchard grass, candida and bron-chasma berna (BB). Eighty five of 287 cases (29.6%) were considered to have nasal allergy. Positive rates of skin tests were 61.9% in HD, 47.0% in Japanese cedar and 21.9% in orchard grass in nasal allergy group. On the other hand,33.0% of non-allergic students also showed positive response to HD and 15.6% to Japanese cedar. It seemed that these students were considered as having latent allergy, preallergic state or false positive phenomenon. In candida and BB, therewas no correlation between symptoms and the results of skin test. Therefore it was difficult to determine only by skin tests whether candida and BB were true allergen of nasal allergy.
