I．はじめに
鼻アレルギー患者の増加と相反して慢性副鼻腔炎患者の減少は昨今各施設で目立ってきている1）。そこで今回鼻アレルギーと副鼻腔炎の関係を考察するため鼻アレルギー患者の鼻X線検査で副鼻腔陰影の有無について検討を行った。患者背景，臨床検査とその陰影の出現率とを比較検討したところ二，三の興味ある知見を得た。そこで鼻アレルギーに伴う副鼻腔炎について若干の考察を加え報告する。
The relation of patient history and the results of the diagnostic examination of atopic allergy to x-ray finding of the maxillary sinus was investigated in patients with nasal allergy.
This investigation showed no correlation of radiological cloudiness of the maxillary sinus to the duration of disease and the degree of atopy.
The present study suggests that sinusitis in nasal allergy may be caused by other factors rather than allergy.
