I．はじめに

　動静脈奇形は脳神経外科領域ではしばしばその報告に接するが，耳鼻咽喉科領域ことに副咽頭間隙に発生する動静脈奇形はきわめて稀な疾患である。最近筆者らはこの稀有な1例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。

　A clinical course of this case is presented and literatures are reviewed. A 39-year-old male suffered from foreign body feeling of the throat. CT scan revealed a massive tumor in the parapharyngeal space. Angiography revealed that a vascular tumor had a main feeder from the ascending palatine artery of the facial artery. Surgery was performed about three weeks after admission. Histological examinations of this tumor showed arteriovenous malformation. The patient had a favourable post-operative course for about ten months.
