I．はじめに
下咽頭に限局した血管腫はきわめて稀な疾患である。著者らは右梨状陥凹に限局した海綿状血管腫症例を経験したので，本邦および欧米の下咽頭血管腫21例の統計的観察を加えて報告する。
A 22-year-old male with hemangioma of the hypopharynx was reported. Discomfort of the throat was the only presenting symptom. Indirect laryngoscopy showed a tumor on the right pyriform sinus. The tumor was irregular surfaced, dark red, soft, and non-pulsating. The superficial surface of the tumor was covered by pharyngeal mucous membrane. The left pyriform sinus and larynx were free of disease. The tumor was completely excised by right lateral pharyngotomy.
Reviewing the literature, this is the forth case of the hemangioma restrictly located in the hypopharynx.
