I．はじめに

　1896年Kuttner^1）が，臨床上腫瘍の病像を呈しながら病理組織学的に炎症であった顎下腺および耳下腺の4症例を記載して以来，そのような病変は顎下腺において多く報告され，従来よりKuttner腫瘍と呼ばれてきたが，現在これらはchronic sialadenitisという分類に包括される傾向にある。この病変は院耳下腺・舌下腺には稀とされているが，今回われわれは，耳下腺のいわゆるKuttner腫瘍と考えられた症例を経験したので報告する。

　A case of chronic sialadenitis of the parotid gland, socalled "Khttner Tumor", is reported.

　A 61-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital because of a firm and painless swelling in the left parotid region of over 10 years' duration. It was clinically suspected as neoplasm, however, the histopathological diagnosis was chronic sialadenitis of the parotid gland. The histological features of the present case were atrophy of acini with replacement of fibrous tissue, infiltration of inflammatory cells and lymph follicle formation.
