I．はじめに

　悪性神経鞘腫は，neuroectodermalのSchwann細胞を発生母体とする悪性新生物であるが，これには，原発性に悪性神経鞘腫として発生するものと，neurofibromatosis（von Recklinghausen病，以後vR病と略す）が悪性化するものとがある。

　我々は，vR病を伴わない悪性神経鞘腫で，腕神経叢原発と考えられる症例を，2例経験したので報告する。

　Two cases of malignant schwannoma which was originated from the brachial plexus but not associated with von Recklinghausen's disease are reported.

　Case 1 ; a 60-year-old male complained of a rapidly growing tumor at the right supraclavicular region. The tumor was removed and was confirmed to be originated from the fast. medialis. No evidence of recurrence was observed one year after the operation.

　Case 2 ; a 13-year-old girl had previously been treated by surgery and radiotherapy for malignant schwannoma in the right axilla. The tumor recurred at the truncus sup. one year later. The tumor was removed but she died of the disease 9 months later.
