I．はじめに
球状上顎嚢胞は上顎切歯および犬歯歯根間に発生し，胎生期の顔面形成時の遺残上皮から生じる顔面裂孔性嚢胞の一種である。われわれは，臨床所見，X線写真，手術時所見により球状駐顎嚢胞と診断された1症例を経験したので報告する。
A case of globulomaxillary cyst in a 13-year-old girl is reported. The cyst is one of fissural cysts, and it forms at the fusion of the globular and maxillary processes and develops in the alveolar bone between the root of lateral incisor and canine. It expands asymptmatically and causes the root of the lateral incisor and the canine to diverge. Later it may involve the maxillar sinus and the roof of the mouth. x-ray examination is most helpful to diagnose the cyst.
The globulomaxillary cyst is rare like the other fissural cyst. In Japan 14 cases have been reported in the available literature.
