　I．緒言

　鼻・副鼻腔に見られるminor salivary glandおよび他のgland originの悪性腫瘍はその殆どがadenoid cystic carcinomaあるいはadenocarcinomaであつて予後も甚だ不良であるが，著者らは稀有なmixed tumorを副鼻腔に認め，しかも良好な経過をとつている症例を経験したので報告する。

　We report a case of benign mixed tumor in the left maxillary and ethmoid sinuses. A 44-year-old male patient presented recurrent epistaxis from his nose for two years, and a large hemorrhagic tumor in the left nasal cavity was found.

　The patient was initially treated by local infusion therapy with 5-FU (2000mg) and by ⁶⁰ Coradiation (8000 rad), because a biopsy of the tumor was reported as papillary adenocarcinoma. Surgical removal of the tumor was performed and the whole tumor was found in the left maxillary, ethmoid sinuses and the nasal cavity. The tumor seemed most likely originated from mucosa around the orifice of the nasolacrimal duct in the maxillary sinus.

　Pathological studies of the removed tumor disclosed benign mixed tumor.

　The patient has been well for one year and two months after surgery.
