乳突蜂巣浸潤を示した髄膜腫症例

EXTRACRANIAL MENINCIOMA IN THE MASTOID PRO-CESS

　Ⅰ．緒言

　髄膜腫は本来頭蓋内増殖の経過をとるのが普通であつて本症例の如く髄膜腫が頭蓋外への増殖すなわち乳突蜂巣部へ著明な浸潤を示し，臨床的に聴器腫瘍の症状を呈したことはきわめて稀であるので報告した。

　A case of extracranial meningioma in the mastoid process is reported.

　A 44-year old female patient with facial paralysis and a mass in the external auditory canal was treated by expansive radical mastoidectomy. Pathological studies of the removed tissue disclosed meningioma of the whorled spindle cell form.

　The patient has been well after the surgery, but her facial nerve paralysis was remained.
