外耳道癌の1症例とその考察

CARCINOMA OF THE EXTERNAL EAR CANAL

　I．緒言

　中耳癌（扁平上皮癌）の発生には真珠腫性中耳炎が先駆するという考え方があり，耳介癌の発生には外傷・太陽光線・寒冷などの外的因子者が誘因となるという考え方がある。

　著者らは外耳道に原発したと考えられる基底細胞癌の1例を発病より約4年6ヵ月に亘り経過観察し得たので報告する。

Observations made on basal cell carcinoma which arose primarily in the external ear canal of a woman, aged 63, for the period of 4 years and 6 months are reported.

During this period attempts at surgical removal of the tumor were made in 3 different occasions supplemented by intramuscular administration of bleomycin 15 mg dose for a total of 150 mg. The patient was finally cured.
