前頭葉症状を呈した原発性篩骨洞癌の1例

ETHMOIDAL CANCER

　I．はじめに

　原発性篩骨洞癌は比較的発生頻度が低く，われわれが本邦文献を渉猟し得た範囲では自験例を含めて34例の報告をみるにすぎない。この内，腫瘍が頭蓋内に侵入した例は6例^1）-6）のみである。最近われわれは左側篩骨洞に発生した腫瘍が他側篩骨洞，両側眼窩，さらに篩板より前頭蓋窩に侵入し，前頭葉をも侵し，前頭葉症状を呈した症例を経験したので報告する。

　A case of cancer of the ethmoidal sinus that presented symptoms of the frontal lobe disturbances is reported.

　A woman, aged 64, complained of a swelling of nasal root, impaired breathing and hard masses in the neck.

　Examination showed nasal polyp that bled easily filling the nasal cavity. The cervical lymph glands were swollen.

　The diagnosis of the cancer of the ethmoid sinus was established. The course the ethmoid sinus cancer may take is discussed.

　The treatment of the employment of drug-therapy, bleomycin, 5-fluoracil, mitomycin-C and chromomycin.

　The patient finally developed decerebrate rigi-dity and died.
