耳介癌の1例

CANCER OF THE AURICLE, A CASE REPORT

　I．はじめに

　耳介癌は頭頸部悪性腫瘍の中では，比較的発生頻度の少ない疾患である。著者が本邦文献を渉猟し得た範囲では自験例も含めて45例の報告がある^1）-42）。治療方法については従来，手術または放射線単独，あるいはその併用療法が行なわれており，予後は比較的良好とされている。一方，最近の癌化学療法の進歩はめざましいものがあり，とくに制癌剤動脈内注入法は頭頸部悪性腫瘍の治療体系の中にあつて重要な位置を占めるに至つたことは周知の事実である。著者はすでに耳介癌の1例に，制癌剤動注と放射線との併用療法を行ない，好結果を得たことを報告したが^38），最近再び耳介癌の1例に同様の治療を行ない好結果を得たので，本邦における耳介癌の統計的観察をも併わせて報告する。

　A case of cancer of the auricle is reported. Of the 36 cases of auricular cancer reported in the literature of this country for the period of past 33 years, a total resection of the auricle had been performed on 20 cases.

　Seven cases were treated with partial resection, while 5 others by radiation alone.

　The present case was treated by intra-arterial infusion of 5-fluoracil as a supplement to cobalt therapy.

　The authors conclude that the present method is quite radical but, may play an important role when employed as an adjuvant to surgery in more advanced cases.
