　Ⅰ．緒言

　喉頭に発生する腫瘍はその多くが悪性腫瘍であり，良性腫瘍は少ない。その良性腫瘍の中でも喉頭軟骨腫は稀な症例であり，本邦においても報告例は僅少である。著者らは今回この稀有な症例を経験したので，症例を報告するとともに，文献的考察を加えた。

　Chondroma of the larynx is a rare disease. There are only 98 cases recorded in the literature, so far.

　Authors report a case of chondroma of the larynx which apparently arose from the thyroid cartilage. The patient is a woman, aged 67, who complained of the hoarseness of the voice for the period of 4 years and recently as 1 week before the present examination she developed an acute dyspnea.

　Under general anaesthesia and by laryngofissure approach the tumor was exterpated. The patient is still, presently, under observation but there is no sign of recurrence.
