Ⅰ．緒言
手術後性頬嚢腫は，久保氏が命名し，その成因を述べられているが，今日なお不明な点もあり，著者らの1人，土田も，昭和42年，第6回鼻副鼻腔学会で，"頭部のルーレット・トモグラフィー"の発表の中で，この嚢腫の成因について言及したが，今回は，ルーレット・トモグラムをもとにして，この嚢腫の成因についてのわれわれの考えをのべる。
Changes that normally occur within the sinus cavity postoperatively are studied by means of roulettetomography. It is found that in case where a good recovery is taking place, the sinus cavity would not be filled with proliferating reticular and bone cells but, maintain a definite cavity space which is freely communicant to the nasal cavity.
