QUESTIONS TO AND ANSWERS FROM PROF. DR. H.A.E. VAN DISHOECK ON THE PROBLEMS OF RHINOLOGY

　I．はじめに

　1966年9月，筆者はPortland，Oregonで開催された国際鼻科学会および合衆国鼻科学会で鼻科学の権威者であられる御存知，Holland，Leiden大学教授H. A. E. van Dishoeck会長に先生の数多い御業績の一端のうちで私どもがもつとも関心をもち，求めてやまない「真理」に少しでも近づきたいものと，親しく一問一答の形で質疑応答を交わす光栄に浴した。

　ここに諸賢のなんらかの御参考になればと敢て報告させていただく。

　The present writer had the rare and precious opportunity of obtaining an interview with Prof. Dr. H.A.E. van Dishoeck, University of Leiden, Holland, the world-renowned authority on rhinology, at the International Rhinologic Society and the American Rhinologic Society, which was held in September, 1966, Portland, Oregon, and through answers from and questions to him a number of unresolved rhinological questions were elucidated.

　The answers given by this renowned professor covered those problems of rhinology, the clarification of which many of the contemporary rhinologists have long coveted, and in these answers, Professor H.A.E. van Dishoeck disclosed some of his outstanding research accomplishments in the field of rhinology.

　If these answeres should prove of any referential value to those interested in rhinological studies, it would be more than delighted. Some of the questions which the writer put to this authoritative professor are presented.
