長期嵌留せる外耳道異物の1例

A LONG STANDING FOREIGN BODY IN THE EXTERNAL EAR

　Ⅰ．緒言

　外耳道異物は比較的多い疾患の一つで，多数の症例や統計的観察が報告されている。一般に外耳道異物は自覚的疼痛のため早期に発見されることが多く，長期嵌留することは少ないとされている。私共は最近発芽の兆を認めた"そら豆"の異物を観察し，長期それも約10年余停留したと考えられる症例を経験したので報告する。

Attention to the foreign body of the exte-rnal ear canal is varied depending upon the nature of the impacting object whether, living or non-living. In the present case reported the foreign body in the external ear canal consi-sted of a bean which had been impacted for the period of 10 years and showed, when it was removed, signs of beginning sprouting.
