　Ⅰ．緒言

　鼻前庭嚢胞は，その発生部位から鼻翼嚢胞とも呼ばれているが，又，発生原因から，粘液嚢胞，顔面裂孔嚢胞，上顎粘液腺嚢胞とも呼ばれ，報告者により，名称も色々である。

　このたび，我々は，本疾患の一症例を経験したので報告する。

Nasal vestibular cyst caused pain and swelling of the left nasal alar in a woman, aged 59. A review of literature of this country revealed 99 other similar cases. From the microscopic study of this tumor the authors are more in favor with Klestadt's theory of its origin which maintains that the tumor arises from the embryonic cleft in the facial region, rather than Kubo's (Ino) theory which states that the origin is from the pent up mucous glands.
