　はじめに

　鼻前庭嚢胞は，1891年にBartualが下鼻道前端部に貯留液を含んだ球状に腫脹した嚢胞として記載したのが最初であり，本邦では1920年，久保^1）が上顎粘液腺嚢胞として6例の症例を報告したのが初めである。以後，本症の発症原因が研究され，顔面に発症する先天性の嚢胞性疾患の成因からの分類が行われ，その中で本症の分類で位置の検討が行われてきた^2,3）。また，臨床統計的研究の報告によると，本症は大部分は一側性であるが，稀に両側性発症の症例もみられる^1,4〜9）。

　われわれは最近，54歳の女性で両側性に発症した鼻前庭嚢胞の疾患を経験し，手術的に治療し得た。ここに症例の概略とともに，文献を引用しながら若干の考察を行ったので報告する。

A 54-year-old woman was complaining of a swelling around the base of nasal ala. Physical and imaging examinations including CT revealed acystic mass in the bilateral nasal vestibular area, and diagnosis of nasal vestibular cyst was made. The cyst was surgically removed under general anesthesia. Histopathological examination showed that the inner wall of the cyst consisted of stratified ciliated or culumnar epithelium. Because the bilat-eral nasal vestibular cyst is very rare, we briefly discussed this lesion from a view point of the genesis and clinical findings.
