　Ⅰ．緒言

　われわれは各種の鼻副鼻腔手術に満足していない。たとえば慢性副鼻腔炎のいわゆる根治手術は患者の間に「蓄膿症は手術しても治らない。」といわれる位われわれを失望させる。今まで白眼視され苛酷に批評されて来た高橋式鼻内整形手術が注意され了解される様になつた。誠に喜ばしい次第である。

　高橋式手術を追試してから3年になる。周囲から励まされ非難されて来た。ある範囲内において高橋式手術を高く評価したい。

For treatment of nasal complaints 102 cases, 68 males and 34 females,during the period begin-ning October, 1960 and ending April 1962, were treated by Takahashi's method of intranasal pl-astic surgery. For observation of ample effect of surgery the period of 6 months to 2 years postoperative was allowed. Foll wing conclu-sions were reached:

1. Takahashi's operation is not a cure for all forms of nasal troubles but it should be gi-ven a certain consideration when the trou-ble consists that of nasal cavity.

2. The nasal cavity trouble is considered as that of condition that deviates from the normal.

3. This method of treatment appeared to be highly effective towards treatment of tali-specific allergic manifestations. It ap-peared to be still far from being an ideal method.
