　Ⅰ．緒言

　最近の悪性腫瘍に対する放射線治療の進歩によつて放射線障害もバラエティにとむようになり，永井氏^1）も従来は放射線感受性が低いとされ，障害の対象と考えられなかつた組織や器官の絶対的感受性に再検討を加えねばならないと述べている。

　私共は最近高度の放射線障害（放射線壊死）をきたした外耳道悪性黒色腫例と喉頭癌例を経験したので報告する。

Two cases of a high degree irradiation burn caused by irradiation treatment of malignancy are reported. The first case was a woman, aged 57 whose right external ear canal affect-ed with malignant melanoma was treated by irradiation of 4,400r of x-ray, 6,100r of ⁶⁰Co and implantation of 9 radon seeds. The second case was a man, aged 65, affected with laryngeal cancer. He was treated by irradi-ation of 6,100r of ⁶⁰Co; when metastasis of the cancer occurred on the right neck this area was given another exposure to 6,100r of ⁶⁰Co. In the first case the burn occurred in the region of the ear and in the second in that of the neck; the both of which proved to be highly resistant to treatment.
