両側上顎癌の1例

BILATERAL CANCER OF THE MAXlLLA

　左上顎癌患者に左上顎全摘を行ない，入院中に右慢性副鼻腔炎の診断で右上顎洞根治手術，鼻内ならびに上顎洞経由篩骨洞開放手術を行なつたところ右側も上顎癌であつた1例を経験したので報告する。

Aman, aged 62, was operated for maxi-llary cancer of the left side August 15, 1963, About 3 weeks later the right maxillary sinus was operated upon. The findings of this operation was also cancer, epithelioma. The patient was treated with 6,000 r of Co⁶⁰ but with symptoms pointing to recurrence of cancer of the original side the irradiation treatment was changed to Cs¹³⁷. The case is under observation for further results.
