鼻腔・副鼻腔結核の1症例

TUBERCULOSIS OF NASAL CAVITY AND SINUS

　緒言

　鼻腔副鼻腔の結核は稀なもので，特に副鼻腔結核は極めて稀とされている。ことに副鼻腔結核の診断を術前に下すことは，甚だ困難で，大部分が，術後，もしくは剖検結果より診断されている。

　我々は，最近，上顎洞腫瘍の疑いで手術を行い，組織検査により，副鼻腔及び鼻腔結核と判明した症例に遭遇したので，ここに報告する。

A woman aged 56 complained of hard of hearing, troubles in the throat and difficulty of breathing. Nasal examination showed ul-ceration and swelling in areas; X-ray of the sinuses suggested tumor formation in the maxillary sinus. Exploratory sinus operation was performed on the suspected side; exa-mination of the mucous membrane showed tuberculosis of the maxillary sinus. Various symptoms of which the patient complained were most likely the result of this sinus in-volvement. The patient was cured by use of sulfa-drugs, streptomycin and kanamycin but it left in its course a marked saddle nose.
