眩暈症例にみられる低血圧の臨床的意義について

　メマイを患者の主訴としてきくことは非常に多いが，これらはしかも耳性疾患ばかりでなく中枢神経系の疾患やさまざまな全身疾患に至るまで多種多様な疾病にともなつてあらわれてくる。またその原因も複雑多岐で未知の分野が多く含まれている。

　このうちでメニエール病をはじめ，いわゆる"良性発作性頭位眩暈"や突発難聴などのように一般に末梢前庭性疾患と考えられているものはその数が多いばかりでなくその治療が全面的に耳科医にゆだねられているという点においてもわれわれにとつては重要な疾患であるということができる。

Aspects of Menieres disease, sudden deaf-ness and positional vertigo of the benign pa-roxysmal type which belong to periphral dis-turbances of the vestibular organs are dis-cussed with comments.

The connection between these three disea-ses and the involvement of the labyrinth is also considered and to what extent the pre-sence of low-blood-pressure may have its in-fluence upon these affections are discussed.

Methods of treatment are discussed; parti-cularly the choice of the drugs in the thera-py.
